A great FA, whereby I still had to fight to stick the top moves, despite 5 sessions on this thing (most of them in TRS). Once you get to the steepness, its all just genuinely fun climbing. The rock quality is wave wall, but longer, and steeper. The main 3 bolts of the crux is just super funky, powerful, tucked-in bouldering over a long sequence, and I just really enjoyed my time on this. Hope you guys do too. Fun fact: this is the first time I've projected anything since my accident in September last year!

13 tie-ins over 5 sessions. Puzzlingly kept falling over and over again at the red-point headwall crux. Good thing that came out of it, got used to the fall. Had to say a prayer for the send burn and God was Painted (or I was painted in God). PS According to Steve, Lloyd is a painting genius; hence the name as a reference to his ability.

Talk about a poopy mantle 😆 ended up using the rolling hotdog beta Couldn't clip the second carrot due to hanger size but it is very easy climbing to the first FH. Lowered to clean the FH's and down climbed the carrots.

Onsight didn’t go very well, a lot of useless chalk around. One fall at crux with a bad sequence. Sorted the sequence second go then jugs to the top, but not a drop of chalk along the way, had to brush quite a bit of spider webs off. I sent pretty comfortably second go. Much nicer with beta and draws on. No knee bar, oh, but I can get 4 fingers in the first pocket (with a squeeze) Hop on now, the top is chalked! It’s not a sandbag!

First lap I skipped the start and was trying to sort clipping beta in the scoop but struggled so came down. Second lap I skipped the start again and kind of sorted beta for the scoop then put the rest of the draws up. Third lap, fell on the starting move, went too far! Lowered to immediately try again, didn’t feel confident but hung on for dear life and managed to get the send!!! Didn’t even use the clipping beta I came up with! Super stoked!!
