I loved the crimps

First outdoor climb ever

Very happy. Feels like a solid V8, but it's easy to work the moves. Took me 5 pretty short sessions, you can't have many attempts because the rock is quite sharp and the crimp is really intense to move to. Went first go this morning after dropping the ending last session.

Managed to get the crux...

Still don't know how to do this but got closer today than ever. Can you stem the right side?

Still feels impossible cuz I cant reach good hold

Finally did this by matching feet and coming over to the right side a little and scrambling up by pinching whatever I could grab near the top. Literally could not do it the normal way it was just too reachy. Really nice climb though

Fucked up my wrist on the first day trying, after some rehab and wrist tape it came through with no further damage. Hardest outdoor grade I’ve ticked so far. Bring back the V6!

The knobby bit of the left starting crimp looks to have broken off. Definitely made the whole thing harder!
