Drive to Mutters and park next to the station of the Mutteralmbahn. Follow the road in direction of Preimköpfl. Just before the top station of the Götznerbahn take the trail to the left. Follow the trail along the ridge and take a fainter trail marked by a cairn to the cliff below the Pfriemeswand.
