Did all the moves. Beautiful steep start on good pockets into a vertical/slabby edgy part to a good restpoint. Overhanging finish with dynamic moves. Before the 2nd try it sadly started to rain.

Big reachy moves. Harder for shorties. Quite slippery. Cruxy from the 2nd to the 3rd bolt. Missing some footholts here to do the move to the sharp pockets. Did all the other moves with rests in the rope.

Der zweite Haken ist etwas seltsam (aber verständlich) eingebohrt. Bei meiner Variante hätte ich mir den etwas weiter rechts gewünscht. So kann man natürlich auch die Linksvariante und die Direktvariante probieren.

Cool chimney (in both senses of the word) with a little tufa at the exit! I would have loved to climb the original Genitheim Gedenkweg, but people were climbing on the left. The series of cracks directly up from the chimney is good, though, too. You can protect it very easily up to the last 5 or so meters, then either run it out or fiddle around with small nuts and slings. Or use the bolts, whatever.

One of the scarier routes I've done in a while. I've often heard that reaching the bolt would already be the crux, but I tend to disagree. It's definitely harder to get away from that bolt, so the crux is actually well-protected. But all in all, it's a head game. Small cams and nuts are helpful. If you take a really long sling, you can also clip the belay bolt on the ledge far to the left (I didn't, though), which makes climbing to the sling in the overhang safer if you don't fully trust the trad gear. Once you've clipped the fixed sling, it's not too hard to get to the final bolt, after which probably only the pump will throw you off.

I didn't want to risk an onsight because it was extremely dirty, especially the start. Almost didn't go for an attempt at all, but in the end I was content with "headpointing" it.

A bit unclear if this is has really been done in the old days by Cukrowski. At least not without additional pegs on the last meters. Starts like Seelmacher, then from the belay in the middle follows the shallow dihedral, along sharp holds, to the last bolt of "Maria Hilf".

Great climbing at the very edge of the wall. Interesting dihedral after the first bolt, then up along the arête and slightly to the right on pockets to the anchor.

Climbed a variant that's only described in the 1931 guidebook, but makes a lot of sense. Instead of traversing to the right after 10 or so meters, traverse left to a good ledge, then easily up. The only hindrance is the vegetation. All the variants of "Alter Weg" deserve a few more ascents per year, but I guess that's never going to happen.
