등정들 Zauppenberger Wand에서

The original start was wet, so I started via the (harder!) route on the right. Certainly not 7, rather 8- or so. The Dirty middle part, the holds in the upper part are nice but not entirely trustworthy. The finish was also wet, so I climbed as far as possible and then back to the last bolt; when dry, this should be an easy mantel.

Wrong finish in most guidebooks (including my reference …)! After the last bolt before the big ledge, you should merge into the 8+ on the left, not the alleged 8 on the right. I tried the right finish and it's way beyond 8, maybe 9- or so, but the second bolt above the ledge is terribly hard to clip and the holds below the anchor are dirty so I stopped there. The part up to the ledge is great dihedral climbing with an overhanging crux at the end. I think the big flake is still tightly lodged in place, but take care, still.
