From Sarimehmetler Camp walk into Emil valley passing the former second campground (water) until you leave the forest. Before reaching Koca Dölek (grassy valley floor with stone hut) take a trail leading up into the valley on the right-hand side. Follow the path for quite a while until traversing to the foot of the pillar through pathless terrain.
