Two unusual venues that are very much outliers. Nicodemus Knob is an isolated pinnacle of good rock that offers a short day's worth of climbing with a fine backdrop of the Weymouth Bay coastline. The Knob Head and Knob End are natural faces of rock set above a working quarry and because of this, climbing time at the crag is restricted.

Nicodemus Knob is extremely exposed to the elements but dries rapidly. The Knob Head and Knob End see the sun from mid-afternoon and dry quickly.

Drive up the steep hill out of Fortuneswell. Turn left at the roundabout by the Portland Heights Hotel at the top of the hill. Follow the road past the viewpoint carparks and continue to a sharp left-hand bend going downhill. At the bend, take a right turn, and follow the road past the prison entrance and on to where the road becomes unsurfaced. A short distance down the wide track it is blocked by a gate, park here.
