Comment by Tom Adam: "Lower Gibraltar was a spot I’d been thinking about, so one weekend Bob and I hiked down from the road and managed to find this sweet little corner that Bob named Lieback Annie (It’s a double entendre, referencing a comment he regularly made to his then-girlfriend Anne). The following weekend I went back with Bret Balllinger and Curt Dixon, with Curt leading this time (I did the previous time with Bob). It became a regular feature of subsequent trips up to Gibraltar, and a few more routes eventually got put up on the formation, some by me with Curt and Warren Edgebert, some by Curt and Warren, and some by other local climbers over the years."
