Ascents as trad by DOT

Just a little too pumped and a little too intimidated for the lead today.

Would be classic if it wasn't escapable.

Rapped in and pre-placed gear for Muesli Direct and Extra G. Fired first go, and was super pumped by the top. Great climbing!

Yeah... I'm floating on thin air... going to Amsterdam in the new year, top gear there.... 'cos I take pride in my hobbie...

Pre-placed my gear, wouldn't have succeeded onsight, sent second shot.

Did I make this into a contrived route by trying to avoid all the positive holds within reach? Hard for the grade, if I climbed it right.

I'd never led this before today. Cruised up after ticking Connection.

So fucking confused about what's what on this route. Feel like the direct finish is what I lead and the obvious easier line trends slightly left, contiuing up crack feature..? Anyway, this seemed harder than 16 and provided an exciting finish to the route. Quality gear and climbing, with a little spice when you're getting pumped.

In retrospect the gear was good and plentiful.. But I, good sir, was neither today.

I think, without the complication of numb fingers and frozen stumps for feet, this route would've felt pretty cruisey. Good gear, good fun.

Surprisingly good gear..

This is quality route for the grade at this crag - interesting climbing with decent gear. The biggest challenge is getting a run at it while there aren't any guided groups hanging off a top-rope on it.

Gave me a demo of how unfit I am these days!

Quality drops for the last quarter but the first 3/4 offer decent climbing with good pro.

This route is ace! A must lead for budding trad climbers... it has it all - solid gear, good climbing on decent rock, with a wild top out! haha

Retro-onsite. This is a fantastic route! 16 is a bit generous! Some of the best footers you could hope to face-climb on!

Found this quite bouldery for a 14.

This would be a classic route if it wasn't escapable off left. Gear looks a bit thin from the ground but it's all there and super-bomber! Consistent, fun climbing on lead.

Fun, easy climbing with lots of good pro. The crux "roof" is much easier than it looks. A bomber #3 Friend protects the excitment.

This is actually a great route. Can't believe I haven't been on it before.. Exciting climbing for a short route, with solid gear.

Nice, grippy rock and good gear (if you're comfy placing gear in apparent loose blocks).

It's mostly a picnic... Good gear but gets a little less interesting towards the top.

Punter-level rope drag... What a battler!

Climbed a variation of this, splitting off R through the steepness to belay L of rap anchors... Nat lead our second pitch to the top.

Man, I'm stoked I could keep my head together for this one! More run-out than I'm used to. Did the left-hand variant start which was good.

AWESOME route!!! Five laps. Will lead next time!
