The moves were ok, but fall potential left me nervous. Quite hard.

Pretty crappy climbing up to a hard and interesting crux sequence. Harder than any move on influenza. Not sure it’s worth the effort, but it filled in the afternoon.

Much better than I was expecting

Contrived.

My taste has clearly changed. Did this 20 yrs ago and thought it average. It was the best route we did today.

Better than route to left

Nice climb, pretty good sandstone, and surprised no one else has put up a few more fine sports routes.

There’s a big block to the left as you reach the ledge that looks like it’s ripe to plummet

May have improved with traffic. Quite good, except for whomever coated each hold with chalk- totally unnecessary and reduces friction. Single bolt anchor up top. May be a good area to do the rebolting and fix anchor arrangement.

Quite interesting for the grade. Rpt, from aeons ago.

Very old school grade, very mossy and second bolt looks suss. Despite this it is an interesting climb that deserves a re bolt. Best to continue up hand crack above ledge ( past dead tree ) to cartwheeling mid anchors.

The bottom crux felt 18. The top crux past the second bolt is scary for leader as invisible from ground above a ledge and at least a grade harder. Dave pointed to the good hold to top out. Definitely would not be physio approved…

Nothing like some hot desert air and vertical quartzite to help the bad back and junky chest

Even weirder bolt placement. Perhaps an early attempt at the dark art? Maybe I was just grumpy because it was freezing and climbing in mist and there didn’t seem any point getting on the better routes up here

Really nice moves and rock up top

The top half was good

Quite good, a direct finish would work but at the moment feels run out and makes you head left

Deserves a star, interesting climb

Less crux than the two right of it, soa better lead for our friend

The engineering job on the shaking flake is a bit scary. Would have best been trundled or wall left alone.

Big hand size for me

The step left was a bit daunting

FFA. For a change I found this easier than Dave, the undercling traverse may suit the short.

FFA. May have been done previously? Done by 6 people, and the other climbers at the crag thought it looked ok and were considering bringing a trad rack in to do it. #5 or #6 handy.

Really nice route. Because it’s hidden behind the annoying bush I will mention a #4 is handy. Did quite different approach to Dave due to reach at the start to get crack. Then quite sustained climbing but good stances for gear.

Waiting for the water streaks on the main wall to dry up. The bolt on the new project makes cams almost redundant. We used a 0.5

Nice climbing, when it feels like it’s getting hard reaching left seemed to work in a few spots
