Ascents in Idaho having Beta

Tried it, but there are two moves I couldn't do. It's relatively easy to reach two crimps above the lip of a 1.5 meter roof but then, you have only footholds 10cm below your hands, in particular a foothold to the left. I could put my foot there but didn't manage to release my hands, and even if you get one of the next holds which are small crimps, I didn't manage to get my other hand up. After these two moves, you can reach a better hold and only have two more easy moves to the anchor. I would suspect around 5.13b/c/d, and it's more a boulder than a route.

TR'd after triple roofs lead. pretty fun route split into two distinct looks. easy crack protected low angle climbing followed by some really spooky friction slab especially after the last bolt if you stay on route the last move to easy ground is very pressing. good luck finding any real hands up there, it's almost all just body positioning and footwork with very careful moves. lead would be spicy but safe

did one last time forever to clean it and bail down the chimney.

had to TR again to make a valid anchor after finding out running to swiss cheese anchors is a terrible idea

fun super easy. a rope was already up but after climbing it I'd climb it on lead no problem. probably got up it in a minute flat

crux is last move

Scramble up Boulder, clip first Bolts and go for gold! A beautiful jug is waiting for you. After opening dyno, 10a, or quickdraw jug, A0, its smooth sailing to the top. The anchors are just a little to the right. Dont head left into the corner. 2 bolts and couples of finger sized cams, or nuts. Keep a .75 for the last vertical crack

fun, straightforward climb to the right of Rolling Thunder. follows the pinkish bolts up.

Fun warm up climb. Well bolted.

This is a mountaineering venture not a strictly fifth class climb, although there is some low fifth class moves in the chicken out ridge section.

Did this in combination with Mt Church

Stay on established route. Navigation errors will increase the difficulty & risk exponentially.

Probably my favorite of the 9 idaho twelvers, mostly because of the lengthy scramble and sustained exposure.

Scary getting to the bolt, tricky bulge crack, sweet long crack to the top

contrived but challenging if you stay on the bolt line including the last move to the chains. lots of fun and tough for the grade if on the bolts directly.

Soft for 5.9.

short but really sweet

little roof at the start then it's all cake.

Fun with obligatory run outs.

super fun rock with an easy run out and then some thoughtful slabby moves, rocking up into good feet was key for this route.

meh. puff puff pass. for all the BS building an anchor off to the right I don't think it's really worth the effort.

Exciting and tricky start followed by aesthetic moves on p1. P2 has easy moves and a weird slabby traverse finish.

Really run out for a climber at the grade

the granite scoops were so appealing!!! definatly holds its R value and pumpy for the grade on good holds

starts with the flaring off-width on the left side of the rye crisp flake. head straight up till flake ends and connect with pocatello punk to finish

that crux hold at the top really is a bunch of boloney...

Didn't top it, but made great efforts to! Set toprope from above...

Whoa, this handed me my own ass

very strenuous, felt hard for the grade. roof exit was fantastic, though. the rope was hard to manage after roof - kept getting stuck in crack, so I ended up belaying from lip of roof.
