Make sure you come in with good conditions, or at least plenty of chalk. Couldn’t go more than 2 moves without spooging off the just-less-than-positive crimps.

There were some really fun sequences, but the humidity and heat detracted a bit.

Very sustained thin climbing that punishes you for picking incorrect sequences. Most of the challenge was not pumping out while searching for the holds that actually had some edge. Would easily be a classic if it wasn't for all the choss and the unnecessarily high 3rd bolt.

Alright, but covered in moss, not a lot of gear down low and a bit of a meh top out. Wouldn't really bother

Classic York crimp fest, stout 24 but the overnight bivy ledge makes it reasonable

Yep, just as brutal and stiff as the other comments say. Just had a go on TR after Lorraine led to clean without the risk of not being able to get the draws back. Still thin and hard to figure out the sequence, especially the lower crux.

Kind of trippy stepping out to the arête. A little too much lichen at the moment too

Brutally hard, and very sustained. Might be possible knowing where to go, and without the sun in your eyes, but some bits are nails.

Wow this schooled me hard. I half climbed, half aided it. Several sections felt like the starting crux of Exhibition Wall, repeated over and over. Thin, hard, and actually a bit overhanging. It could be a crimpy project, but I don't think I'll be back for it.

I worked as hard figuring this out as Metal Shavings, but the send went more easily. In a way, it's one tricky move. With the amount of gunk I had to brush off this, I don't think it's seen love in several years. [2]

Unloved 80s vertical insanity which is actually really cool. Climbs like Windjammer Wall. Respect to the Bullen. Currently has some red tickmarks, get on it! [2]

Vertical tech slimper action. My biggest onsight battle for a while. Went up and down on the start a bunch of times, and then some gambling on the top headwall which paid off by the slimmest of margins and plumpest of forearms.

Short steep fun in the middle

2 shots. First shot I struggled with the lower and upper cruxes (trying to find holds on this chalkless wall). 2nd shot I cruised to the upper crux in the full sweaty sun, then muffed a not-so-hard sequence rushing against the spooge onslaught. Very thin,sharp, and intense (except for the sit-down rest at half height). Grade feels stiff, but is on-par with the rest of the Mt York thin face-climbs for relative difficulty.

Great climbing. Will be worth coming back for it
