Couple of goes sorting the lower moves. Phsyched

Brushed the crack out, looks like it's been a while since this has been climbed. Not a top shelf John Smart '78 route, but still pretty cool.

just bouldered the start, the first 4 metres or so are hard but nowhere near impossible. the middle section of the climbs looks to be the crux.

every move up to clip4 has been done

Rebolted. And largely brushed. Needs a bit more, and if anyone else gets on it before I get back to it (hahahaha) then you need a thinner diameter crab or two for the last bolt

Only did the last bolt up. Felt quite reasonable. Glad the FA stopped at the crack, because the bolt and line above it is stupid hard. Definitely possible though

Did all the moves, having a fresh look with new eyes, I think it'll go this season if I get enough time on it. To the third should be easy enough, linking that to the top is a challenge

Rapped down and had a look. I think it'll be easy enough - hard past second bolt, but may be less balancey in sub 30km/h winds

Third bolt to the top. Still a ways away. Cooler temps will help though.

OS through the crack, would claim it, as the TR solo rig was more effort than placing gear would have been. Mantle needs a clean, and I need to actually get the IL part first go for once.

Probably good to clipping the third. 3-4 will be hard, but I’ll keep at it.

To the second bolt should be fine, up to the third is hard, but in cooler conditions should be ok with work

Can get the right to the chipped hold a few ways, none that let me get further though. Those bottom crystals shred rubber too

Duncan thinks this is "at least 28 maybe 29 or even 30". I don't know. Seems like it's about 2 grades above what I've red pointed before. Definitely the hardest stone I think I've touched. Gave three cam to cam burns on the first day but then seemed to have nothing in the tank on day 2. Think my strategy will be to get on this then take rest days on Hotwired and other projects.
