Absolutely height dependant for the crux eponymous "pull up" over the roof. I could barely reach at 173 cm. Slab climbing is good and fun above. Tricky balancey clip at bolt 4 I think it was. Great route

Almost got it. Just a slip at the second bolt.

Actually climbed the bottom part of the 5.7 next to it as that was dry, and the top of this one

Had a foot slip, and thought I was going for a ride, but my hand was wedged into a crack, so it caught me. I think I may have wrenched my left shoulder a bit, though.

After 7 or 8 falls at the second bolt, my fingers were starting to ache from the crimps, so I gave up.

same, TR before bolting. Pretty consistent at 5.4, and everyone loves having a 5.4 sport route around, right?

Thinking of throwing some bolts in here, wanted to TR it again to see what I thought.

This is, very definitely "old school" 5.9. Crux is probably around 5.10b, but (at least) protected by a bolt. Rest of the gear to that point doesn't look great, either.

Surprised at how easily this went. Really good friction today with the cooler temperature must have helped.

One fall because I screwed up the beta at the crux.

Second bolt is loose, nut needs to be tightened.

Fell off the first real move.

No way the crux section of this is 5.9. I think it is harder than 5.10b, don't know how much harder.

Roof is the crux of the route. definitely quite a reach. Holds are big, but not sure it qualifies as a 5.7

definitely not 5.9. Minimum 5.10c Backed out during lead attempt.

Scrambled to top a little further down face and used bolts at very top to lower an set top rope for route.

Went more smoothly than I expected.

I think this is more like 5.10a.

Pulling direct on the bolt line over the little roof does go at about 5.9; only 5.8 if you wander left.

There is one small 5.0 move about 3/4 of the way up, just f.y.i.

Fun climb, good test peice for less experienced climbers to transition up from 5.5s, not too many of those "medium" routes in Calabogie, so that's nice. Definitely a scary start to the high-ish 1st bolt, more so because the landing is really sketchy and on the edge of another 4-5 foot drop.

Super fun climb, good variety of interesting holds ranging from massive jugs to monos(though you don't have to use the mono, I tried and failed, had to use a less obvious hold), also the odd under cling and layback. More varied than most "easier" routes around Calabogie. All around enjoyable route.

Beautiful cedar tree shaped like a slingshot to climb up so you can stick clip the first couple of bolts if you like. Definitely relied on the tree again to help bypass the crux, don't know how to tick this one...

Deceptive from the ground, did not expect to get turned around on this one. Crux is definitely interesting and reachy. I'll be back.

I don't think this is any harder than "Tea. Earl Grey. Hot.", which is 10a.

5.10a max in my view. A bit heady at the top.

I've done this route a few times now and can't really find the 10a move. Pulling the roof a tiny bit left but mostly under the 3rd bolt feels 5.9 at most. Right of the 3rd bolt and pulling on that tiny crimp feels 10b or more. I think the accumulated chalk beta on those jugs just left but still on the roof is gonna pull this climb towards a 5.9 onsight.

Something about this route is so fun. The cool flake, the traverse left, slabby finish with awesome friction. All good.

Tricky but enjoyable. I got on it thinking it was another 10a (like Warbird and Tea), but was quickly disabused of that notion. I'm not sure it is 10c (I don't generally on-sight 10c, hell, I don't normally climb 10c clean -- it is, I would say, noticeably easier than Sausages at Down Under, which is (perhaps incorrectly) my benchmark for 10c). I was thinking solid 10a+ or maybe 10b after climbing it.

I found this generally pretty mellow -- more 5.9/5.9+ than 5.10a -- but it may be height-dependent at the crux, so 5.10a may be a fair grade.

The climb feels like it ends too soon, though. There's this lovely final bulge to pull, with some nice jugs to do it with... but you're at the anchors. I might have put the anchors above a horizontal on the slab... but that might have made for more rope drag over the edge when lowering off.

Did the crux direct this time. Might be 10a, I guess. Then again, it was the end of the day, and I'd just lowered off Locutus, so was tired.

Tricky route, nice crimps and small feet, good balance required!
