Bunch of cooked chooks today. Butchered the start boulder ~10 times first tie in then managed to get through it (somehow) just to fall off at the undercling. Lots of cool sequences on this, not that I'll remember them. Frozen cokes on the way home bought us back to life

2 sits. Now need to find some endurance.

2nd shot. Didn't like the look of the undercling at the crux so reached past it to a two finger gaston shoulder move! Never screamed so much during a crux before.

Reacquainting. Had 2 shots a couple years ago I think....

Made it through the bottom boulder problem but was cooked. Keen to get back though. Best 25 I've tried on the coast.

This is such a damn fine route. So happy to get the send, and on the day's first burn! Had such a nice flow, felt like I cruised the crux and felt far less punishing than the previous session. Happy I got the tick before the downgrade, too! I can't say I agree with this route being downgraded, especially compared to a heap of the other 25s around, and some of the 26s this would fit that category. But maybe thats just my own confirmation bias...

Popped off the third move, then onsight to the top. Probably lower end 26

Found the start a bit easier with some sneaky heel-hook beta I was given. Nearly dropped it at the high undercling crux when I forgot about my feet but managed to keep it together. Overall probably on the easier side of 26 with the crux moves probably being at the start.

Took a few tries to figure out the start. It wasn't as crimpy as I was expecting it to be from the description, but rather more powerful. Mostly endurance climbing from there up to another hard move at the undercling which took a bit of working to figure out my sequence.

EOD. Pretty pooped, good to rehearse the beta.

2nd go, great position. Low end 26 imo.
