Got it 2nd go. Great fun! One sequence wonder, but glad to have pushed through.

Chickened out instead of clipping the 5th bolt under the lip.

Managed to do the hard clip and find the beta over the lip.

Warm up

Flash attempt. Couldn’t work out how to get over the lip.

Flash attempt after watching a couple of other climbers on it. But I went for the double gaston from too low and fell at the crux. The grade comes from one move into an "open the elevator door" stance. After hanging below the crux I then went bolt to bolt to the anchor because the last few moves are a bit run out on big jugs and I had to psych myself up for it.

Red point #2ndgo. Based on this, Boulder canyon has softer grading than Rifle! But this route and crux suit me well. I watched two shorter climbers on it and neither could do the crux so it might be a matter of height as well.

Nice route. the runout between bolts 4 and 7 is pretty sketchy despite easy terrain. Clipping the 7th is okay from the ledge, but if you are short you need to commit to a very serious move a long way above the previous bolt without a clean fall. There are two cruxes: one between 2nd and 3rd and one between 7th and 8th.

We warmed up on this crag classic. My introduction to climbing in the USA It was cold, so the main problem is that my fingers were numb (and I had forgotten my chalk bag).

Pumpy slightly overhung crux, most enjoyed. Gets the blood pumping!

Straightforward climb, well enjoyed

It's so hard for me to clip the fifth draw while other tall people could reach and clip from the left edge. The clipping made it like a 5.13 for me. However, if you have big reach,this route is super fun.

Fun route. The crux is the first two draws.

There is a short anchor after the face climbing.

Flowy movments from below with a fun & awkward finish.

My first route climbed in Boulder Canyon. I felt so good with all the big holds!

Single crux when move to right. Not too bad climb overall.
