Thoroughly enjoyable, a few delicate moves but otherwise easy climbing.

BIG cams or hexes needed to protect the traverse. Lay back crack too big for any of my gear so placed pro in utju kutju

Bouldery mantle to get off the ground and over the lip onto the lower slab. Fun slab climb up to the roof traverse.

Had 3 attempts on top rope as had limited equipment. Very interesting climbing, quite steep but with great golds. Good mixture of fist and finger jamming, keen to return to get the whole climb.

Lovely first climb on the east Mac rock, hopefully the first of many.

Really cool line. Controlling the swing with the heel is a fantastic feeling. Probably the best line in the desert so far.

Crux at bulging bottom of the crack. Nice jamming all the way leaves no need to stray from the crack for hands or feet.

Really fun climb. Started as per utju kutju but stepped left immediately and climbed the bottom slab directly rather than following the diagonal. A nice looking mantle from the overhung start awaits to unlock this as a fully fledged variant but we ran out of time. Undercling traverse is fun with solid hands and smeary feet. The giant block feels solid despite questionable rock on other parts of the crag. Stayed out of utju kutju to finish tidily up the layback moves

Gritty chimney to exposed final moves moving left onto the suspended block. Pulled a small crimp off at the crux but had good contact on other holds so wasn’t catastrophic and doesn’t change the grade.

2 falls 'cos I hadn't found the key hold in the crux!
