Nice Trad tricky crag

This was epic, really lovely crack and easy protection until the middle, a step out to the left to a horizontal crack that I stuffed full of cams, and then a pretty long runout on smeared feet to the bolts. No rings.

Didn't enjoy this all that much, but it was my first trad lead on my own, so possibly just a bit nervy

Enjoyed this, crux stepping right to join the next crack halfway up, plus waiting there to protect it without being able to see the crack you were aiming for. A good thoughtful climb

Felt easier than a 5.10a, maybe a 5.9?

Extremely thin feet between the first and second bolt!

stupid decisions lead to a stupid fall.

Attempted to free solo this in approach shoes. Crux was mid height on the route with bad fall potential and wet hands, Opted for the downclimb rather then hut myself!

Cruxy start right off the ground, then a second crux mid pitch with a possible bad fall. Just barely managed to clip the bolt in time!

Learned to trust my feet on this one!

5.9 route (variation) to the right of Bilbo Baggins. Shares the finish with Bilbo Baggins.

Councillor's Groove 5.7. Climb up the crack left of Easy Breezy. Finish at the same anchor as Easy Breezy.

This is not a trad route, mixed at best with 3 bolts. The new guidebook rates it a 5.9

So fun to climb

There's two places (diagonal crack) where you can add protection. No need to carry a full rack just for two placements. Hand size cracks. Optional too... There is an anchor after the last bolt on the last slab, near a bush in the back. Just no rap anchors.

Climbed up after to give feedback on gear placements.

Gets progressively harder as it goes up, finishing with a few pure slab moves with pretty much no hand holds at the top.

A bit of a tricky section for the grade through the middle.

Rachael's first Trad lead! I pink pointed up after clipping her gear... And dropping into a few pieces on purpose just to show her they would hold.

Great feet, terrible hands, so a pretty ideal slab climb, but felt harder than 5.10b.

I'm supprised this is a top 100. Although the setting and views are nice, the crack itself it lacking.

A little bushy down low, but still a great climb!

Fun stemming up and around the roof! Bring your small gear as there is some groundfall potential when passing the roof.
