Ascensões em South Australia

Absolutely brilliant. Aesthetically, rock-quality, and from a pure climbing perspective, this has to be one of the best gear routes at the grade I've climbed in Australia. Pitch 1 rivals Ramadan (at Ben Lomond) for quality, though they are stylistically different. Kinda intimidating at the grade, but worth every moment. The run-out taipan-esque bridging away from the gear on P1, and thugging out through the roof on P2 are very memorable.

What a line! Think I preferred this to Downwind. Fantastic thought-provoking climbing through occasional run-outs. Spectacular bridging. What an airy roof on the second pitch. Descent is via a 60m rap off to the right.

Finally did the original. Nice crack!

Very enjoyable route, trundling up bomber hand jams the whole way, just a shame it turned into a wet epic!

Stiff at the grade. When leading the third pitch, save your biggest hexes for the top crux! It's worth topping out - the fourth pitch was my favourite. I didn't do the direct start but should have due to rope drag.

New favourite Moonarie route! tricky and dusty start for sure; had to take on my first red cam, come down and try again. sustained (sandbagged) and unique climbing, followed by an epic belay ledge and wonderful roof to start the second. scenic as!

Was sandbagged by someone telling me it’s 23, never been so pumped in my life!

Had a ball heading up this rig and survived. If you can get past the name it’s pretty interesting climbing Found myself in some really strange body positions. Plenty of rests along the way passing a very gym like pinch pulling the first roof mid height. Committing move pulling out of final roof.

Holds are fine, just gotta figure out how to use them

Hard to grade. Less pumpy than Dr Strike but crux is more physical. Hard 25 I’d say

Very rad and super stoked to get an onsight! A shame about the rock quality at the start but some cool moves in a wild position. The 3rd pitch is extremely out there and well worth doing.

I believe this line traverses underneath the huge roof with a couple bolts and is graded 22? Super rad!! The Trinity Wall of Moonarie. Wild positions with inverted knee bars and dicey moves, what a corker!

Never climbed on rock this glassy in Australia before, one of the best at the grade in Adelaide

Fantastic way to escape the heat - though some would say 'out of the frying pan and into the oven'. This route will cook you well and truely! 1st pitch only.
