Absolutely spectacular line from grand master Bernd. The initial crack is already tough, with a tricky section after the small hollow. After the ring it gets more layback-y with some wall climbing on edges thrown in for variety. And pretty much no reliable placements as far as I can tell 😬, at the crux up to the sloper ledge you are in for some serious air time. Traverse right at the end of the white wall and top out via the good but pumpy crack and delicate coral plates. Would be great to redpoint this, but I need to be in the right headspace and mb take a few falls on ufos for confidence. Climbed in 2 sections - first to the 1st ring on toprope after Sven fought his way there on the sharp end. I initially continued up the "Překvapení na konec - Varianta" on lead for a VIIIa team ascent. Afterwards, I checked out the upper section with a rope from above.

Really cool route but the first bolt is not glued in full lenght and sticks out. A bit scary. 6th repeat.

Stupid placement of 2.R. The most difficult move is right under it. When you reach a good griff for clipping, you don't need it anymore. VIIIa in TOPO guide is underestimated (in Saxon context). VIIc Ostrov = rather VIIIb Saxon. Could be even VIIIc.

Good Crack and wall climbing. Too hasty while seconding, really underestimated the section starting ca 1m after the ring and ran into a dead end.
