Variant by moving left immediately after start, then straight to overhang and through it

We stopped at Shipton Notch because of altitude sickness. Long day of almost 16h

Alternating lead with Seb V. The other party of our group was in front with a guide.

Very well bolted route. Rock is not always sound but it should be good with more visitors. Alex F led all the way clean. I had to rest on the first pitch. Top abseils a twisting the rope; fortunately, the last abseil has a chain with a ring and it perfect allowed us to untwist the rope. It took us 2h30 for ascent and abseils.

We tried to lead but did not dare because it felt much harder and there was not gear; so we top roped it. We realized later that we were 3m to the right. So we did a variant.
