Whaaaaa I sent it! Such a cool journey! I laughed a lot at myself today, because I messed up in every way possible 🤣🤣 I almost came off towards the ledge before I was even clipped in, tried the very first move in a different way which was hard. Couldn’t get into the kneebar in the roof and tried numerous times and wanted to take but the people were screaming at me 😆 so when I went for the grip, I barely had it but pulled up anyway and gaaawd knows how I stuck that. Now I was too tired to even climb to the good resting place in the open book, so had to shake out before that haha! Found a new rest above the rest because I was so desperate. Doing the last crux I didn’t trust my footwork and barely stuck the hold (I use a small intermediate crimp). I laughed so much because how am I still on the route. Looked up and saw the chains next and realised I have to persevere. Josh gave me all the beta for the last moves in detail, but I did not manage ANY of them 🤣🤣🤣 but found a weird fingerlock and sidepull that had no chalk which led me to the glory jug to clip the chains. I celebrated like never before! Hahaha, what an awesome route!

I put the draws up and sent first goooo 🥳🥳🥳 Finally I was ready to put this fantastic route together and it flowed so nicely. My first 25 and hardest route ever 🤩🕺🏽What a gorgeous line!

What a kiff route! Second draw is dodge and run-out and it’s not exactly easy climbing (clipped Quillerimo’s 2nd draw then Lambada’s and then came back to unclip). It was so nice to work out the cruxes (which went from “I have no idea how to do this” to “okay this is easy”. Except the last move was really hard and full-on and I had to fight for it. Kept falling off the last move in the last 3 attempts 😆 This dirty dancing little sequence concludes the last 24 of my 20 24s challenge! 🥳

The campus start, burl fest, schlauk and lack of feet made me work really hard for this route. So much screaming to clip the second draw and then screamed some more because my forearms were in so much pain already 😅 I can’t believe how much I enjoyed the process AND glad it’s over now. Need alert belayer to work together with climber (NB!)

Savage burly little thing, but really enjoyed working it out and sending it. The route is good to read, the holds are all there, the crux is pasaaaat! Kim found a kneebar and saved our as*es to rest before the chains 😃 The send go was in the flow

This turned out to be a fun route. Thought the crux was yuck and I just needed to commit to the moves, but it flowed on the send and I enjoyed the crux.

Can’t believe I got convinced to warm up on this thing 🤓

What a hard, but fun route. I am speechless about the send, because I thought I was projecting it and my most wonderful belayer just lowered me once I managed the crux and said I should start again and when I shouted “I’m falling” but wasn’t taken in I assumed I must keep climbing. It was a fight and I have never been in so much pain from being pumped! Without her support and belief in me, no ways I would send this so fast! Beta: find the kneebar 😉

Yay, I sent this today! Turns out doing the same thing over and over again (the direct crux) eventually does bring progress - beta: match on rail, rf far right in pocket dropknee, lh rail lockoff, hard pull as rh goes up directly to leftside of top rail). I find the first half of this route nicer than Sickle Moon with a hard solid crux. I was less scared at the top and kinda figured out what to do using that sidepull.

I sent this magnificent beast today while laughing and chatting and putting no pressure on myself to send. This is definitely helping me get out my own way and benefiting my climbing 🕺🏽I had energy at the top still joking around - what is going on even 😆

One burn. Managed to do both cruxes today and got all the way to the top 🕺🏽

Checked this monster out for the first time 👀 Wow, it’s hard and awesome!!! I wasn’t able to do the crux, but hey, I figured out the very first move 😆 This is going to be quite the adventure!

Brick hard 😆

I only have one burn to do this each time. Today felt harder than ever 😭😆🤣 Let me break it down. The first clip is nice and easy, then immediately the first move is an awkward undercling straight into hitting the first roof for the second clip and a big powerful move to get over said roof. The pump is already real at this stage before you’ve even clipped the 3d bolt and scramble to find a rest just as you’re about to hit the first crux/crimp section - crimps the size of credit cards that make you feel like a superhero if you manage to stick them. By the 4th bolt you feel like wow how am I still holding on to things, this is a little desperate section where talking to the rock gods out loud gets me through it (this is actually the peak crux for me) and feels like the hustle to balance life, where afterwards pulling up on deep finger pockets the size of my pinky makes me feel like I’ve achieved something with my life. To be met with another powerful crux section where I don’t know if I’m pulling or pushing, coming or going and just when you think it’s over, one last powerful push to make it to the top. The route is a thrill! 🤪

I found myself exclaiming my excitement at every move, had so much fun working this today. Pocket fest (1 finger, 2 finger and 3 😱🤤 - I didn’t even realise I loved small pockets so much), gastons, side pulls, jugs, super tiny crimps, this route has it all! I’m looking forward to the day I can put this together because it’s going to flow so nicely! You’ll need 13 draws

Such a fun route! I went for the onsight and steered a bit left at the crux on the path of least resistance.

I’m not a fan of this route, yet I do it every time I’m at Blaze 😆 Doesn’t get easier.

This is actually such a beautiful route! Sketchy between draw one and two as mini-crux can throw you to the ground, but all the holds are there. The boulder problem at the top is still hard, but I got it first go today. I would climb this more often if it wasn’t for that sting in the tail.

The runouts are real! The line naturally takes you to hold onto good holds, unless you’re supposed to force yourself onto the blank sections which then becomes harder than anything on No Man’s Land. Otherwise doable cruxes and fun route.

Spicy start and warm up. I messed up a little where the line splits and went left one draw later than intended, because I only saw the draw afterwards.

Great route with jugs all round plus two hard cruxes.

Quite a sustained route, like going at 22/23 into SOLID 24 crux! I tried the crux a million times and was able to stick the lh crimp long enough to finally get the top good hold, but then somehow cannot stand up from there to finish 🤣🙈

Back in the day this used to be such a big project for me. Saw Beth cruise up it once while chatting away and catching up with her belay partner and thought wow, I hope one day I’m able to do that too. And now I am, and I don’t know for how long it would feel that way, so want to remember and appreciate the flow ☺️

Warmed up on the route and it felt too hard to do, bad idea 😆 Then toproped and worked out the moves. Sent on 3d go 🕺🏽 Enjoyed it, fun route!

Whaaaa, sent this route first go today after working out the sequence so many times 😆🕺🏽

Beta: crimp far left best, rh above layer then clip, lh goes to crimp on left but on right side then cross over with rh to left side crimp. Left hand goes up and squeeze crap little knob just quick enough to make big move to pocket then clip. At top crux stick to rh postbox, left hand left postbox, turn body in right hip to wall, layback right hand on crimp ramp, left hand to crimp grip above then up with right hand undercling tiny thing then big move to rail for clip

2nd go. Fun route

Beta: from rail left hand jug left of draw, can traverse right to clip, then crux left hand layback AND right hand layback rf over lip quickly and stand up to good hold. Boom!

Beta for next time: once you reach for right hand at start of crux, keep body to the left, then go up left hand to the right (turn shoulder in). Pop right foot higher

My beta: right hand pocket, left hand grip, then left foot high, left hand undercling (turn hand to get the right angle), either flag or place rf out, go up and clip from undercling with lh

Yay, finally sent it! Such a fun route! Pretty sustained from the start, like 3 cruxes I had to work out and link up with a (much needed) soft ending. Enjoyed working it.

My beta: after first bolt, (crux 1) left waitress hand push up against rock, right layback, big move to rail (crux 2) left hand on sharpish point of rail, right hand on bottom layback, big move with right hand to hold (crux 3) left hand first to layback, right hand above that pinch that grip, get right foot high, beeeeg move to left hand postbox. Boom!

Whaaa, finally sent this route! The crux was all about cranking it down, not very gracefully 😄

That move is more like a 23 and is a boulder problem. Beta: high right hand pinch (use thumb and all), left hand on shit crimp, high right foot and soon as you stand up quickly put left foot on left pedal and go for shitty lefthand pocket. I smeared my right foot and went for left hand grip slowly and wiggled my hand until the positive position and clipped.

Sitdown rest on ledge. I just can’t climb this one as gracefully as I would like 😆
