so long….first misread the crux and later an unnecessary food slip at the second to last bolt. Damn long routes. I couldn't get myself together for a third attempt.

technical and laybacky crack, super cool but seems a bit harder then 6b+.

Actually really enjoyed bulge / overhanging section of this climb ! Main thing is to go for the right pocket, as there are overwhelming amounts

Wow, what a cool crack ! Awkward start & then after it gets very interesting. Did my first foot jam there! Felt way harder than 6b+ for all of us.

#First_ascent. Nice, south-facing, slightly overhanging route, starting from a sunny terrace. There are some loose rocks in the last 3 meters

#First_ascent. Beautiful face climb on the west face of Balcó del Priorat. I saw the line while checking the area and asked myself, how can this not be bolted yet? While checking it out and placing the bolts, it looked quite hard, but it went down on the first redpoint try two days later. I'm absolutely not sure about the grade; honest repeaters will tell. With stunning views, breathtaking sunsets, and majestic Vultures flying by so close they seem within reach, one question remains: Can climbing get any better than this, besides the grade?

First climb in Montsant & already took my heart. What a wild style of moving, what a beautiful rock and formations and huuuge eagles flying overhead. Took a fall in the beginning at the (scary-for-me) bulge. Glad to do it though !

Enjoyable

Very worthwhile. Trad climbing on bolts.

Great fun in the scorching heat. I was a little stumped on the start, but the rest of the route was great. Nice to link some sections on the second burn.

Classic and engaging. A very tough onsight with little to no chalk. Was a completely different story second time around; albeit with much more painful toes.

All well protected, with bolts in all the right spots; protecting the hard moves. The only run outs are through jugs. Get on it

Very good enjoyable climbing that continues all the way to the anchors.

Struggled heavily on the mid section but managed to pull through and recovery just enough on the second half to make it to the chains.

First time foot slipped at the second bolt, second go was smooth climbing till the last bolt. Took me a few goes to figure out the sequence for this runout to the anchor.

Warm up

Super good route. Steep jugging and pocket pulling until your eyes pop. I need more Spanish fitness for this one.

Engaging

Second shot (and only just). I found it harder than 7a (but that might be because I suck at this style... and need a rest day). A tad unfortunate that you can traverse off for a rest as the pump is building.

The quality of the rock is not as good as on the popular routes further left. But the pockets are as good. A bit runout further up, but in my opinion this only adds to the experience and it is never dangerous. 😋

Damn I can not believe that I flashed my first 7c and did it on top rope 🙈 50 meter technical masterpiece , the send took me one hour 😅 I was afraid that I didn’t make it to the top and didn’t want my partner to do it again if I would fail…. And accidentally I flashed it 😅 damn…. But I cleaned it while climbing so I was able to do every clip 😂 hallelujah what an end of the year

Absolutely my style, super homogeneous technical pocket climbing on a super vertical wall. The second half of the route is quite run out 🙈 you better trust your belayer 🥰
