Ascensions dans Amden - Weesen

Did all the moves with awesome beta from Michele...connecting the dots will be a different story...

The conditions were perfect, even the small crimp today felt like a jug. I think today it was a normal 8a, nothing extreme. Last time I tried it it was at least a hard 8a+!

Thailand? I thought we are going to Greece....

Did all the moves fairly quickly. Linking them all together seems really hard! Looking forward to trying again soon!

Einzelzüge gehn, alles zusammenhängen inkl. Klippen geht wohl noch einen Moment...

Zweite Session, leider fast noch weiter weg als bei der ersten. Ab jetzt wird wieder hart trainiert ;-).

Heute nach langer Zeit mal wieder ausgecheckt und noch viel zu wenig Strom, nach der Schulterverletzung um wirklich ernsthafte Versuche zu unternehmen. Aber immerhin oben Rainers Beta nachvollziehen können an dem scharfen Seitengriff auf rechts.

Did the sequence both ways, with and w/o the pocket. Feels equally hard to me, but I also really suck at making this pocket work. All in all quite soft for 8a but a fun line; lots of technical crimping.

Nach fast einem Jahr mal wieder vorsichtig ausgecheckt. 3 Versuche. Gute Fortschritte in der Crux-Sektion, bekam ganz brauchbare Beta zusammen. Die Kletterei bis dahin ist noch zu ineffizient.

Neuer High-Point. Aber noch einiges zu tun. Es langt noch nicht für die komplette Power-Endurance-Sektion. Die Beta ist schon recht optimiert. Mit dem Kreuzer an den Löchern von Sebi könnte es fast noch besser werden, im letzten go kurz ausgecheckt, fühlt sich nicht so schlecht an.

Langsam wird es recht solide. Im 3. Go beim letzten harten Zug zum Schlitz gefallen. Die letzte Sektion über die Sloper muss noch etwas kontrollierter werden.

Uff, mega nah dran. Wieder zweimal der gleiche High-Point beim Schlitz. Im ersten Burn noch zu unkonzentriert und bei den Slopern raus gefallen. Beim Burn 2 auch noch nicht voll da und auch ein wenig zu heisse Temps. Im Burn 3 nicht gut gestanden und wieder zu hektisch beim letzten Zug. Burn 4 dann ohne grosse Pause war der solideste und nur sehr knapp neben den Schlitz gegriffen.

Heute war es dann endlich soweit. Es hat aber gleich noch vier Gos gebraucht. Die ersten drei Versuche waren wieder beim gleichen High-Point und ich hab den Schlitz einfach nicht erwischen oder halten wollen. Einmal kam mir auch der rechte Fuss. Um vierten hielt er dann endlich und der Rest ging dann recht gut. Alles von unten bis oben extrem solide durch geflowt. Super coole Team-Beta zusammen gesetzt! Danke Rainer, Sebi und Mario für die vielen guten Ideen und den Support.

In Schlüsselstelle linker Fuss hoch für Heelhook war für mich die beste Lösung. Heute beim 2. GO durchgeklettert.

Couldn’t find a good solution for the first crux, maybe I have to place my left foot more to the left. Then again really hard at the last bolt!

Need to get more training in for this one.

Checked out the moves on my first try and had a very promising second attempt. The second crux requires some delicate footwork, hopefully I can keep it all together next time

Found a okayisch solution for the first crux. But the holds where wet today and the skin already quite thin…

Cut on the left index finger and basically no skin on the right 😓

Too many moves which are on my limit, but it should be possible with some fresh skin.

So close second go. Fell at the last noteworthy move because I couldn't remember where to place my feet. In the 3rd go, there was way too much sun.

Really nice and technical route. Next time, hopefully with less sun and without a cut in my left index finger

Tried it once, but still I don't get the initial crux. High feet and undercling crimp feel way too insecure. Also, with my solution for the last crux, I can't clip the last draw

Moved to 'Thai City' instead.

First go went so good and then I messed up the feet again 🙈 In all other gos where way too much sun on the wall for the slope crux section. Always fell at the same hold. Maybe I should wait for cooler, less sunny days

Tried the lower part 🥳💪😅😅😅 The moves I managed were very nice 👌😅

Quite hard but fun!

Viel zu hart die Route und dann kommt auch noch die Krux

Überraschend speckig obwohl die Route so schwer ist, was es nicht unbedingt einfacher macht...

Schönes Teil, tunkt mir eher hart für den Grad, aber was weiss ich schon in diesen Graden. Für Galerie Verhältnisse find ich auch nicht zu speckig, ein Riesentritt ist schon recht poliert, aber der hält schon. Aber ich find es auch bis zur Schlüsselstelle schon sehr hart und pumpig, hat aber auch glaub ich wieder nicht viel Kraftausdauer heut. Die Schlüsselstelle am Untergriff ging mit ein wenig fighten und mit ein paar Versuchen wird sie tatsächlich etwas besser, geile Zugabfolge, aber die dann noch nach dem harten Zustieg, ohjee, das dauert wohl noch...
