2nd shot. On my onsight, I fell off on the last move to the anchors!

Other than the grotty no-hands rest in the middle, this is actually a really fun route. The top roof boulder is greata fun, and super funky.

Just. Then came off trying to get on the extension.

Second go, an almost lie-down rest can be found in the bulge section.

Smooth warm up. By far my best effort of the day. All went downhill from there lol

3 or 4 goes. Did quite different beta to last year, more dynamic, was fun

Yeeew first 26 and topped out for the full tick.. 2nd go today.. Had a few attempts 4 months back. Couldn't have thought of a better line for it

Milked that Knee bar for all it was worth. Great climb!

Second time's a charm

3rd Red Point Attempt today (10th Redpoint attempt this season, + 3 Equipping laps, + a bunch of laps over the previous 3.5 years). Finally! This epitome of my anti-style goes down after an embarrassingly long siege. The Send with still challenging but solid (and I took a few moments to compose myself on some of the moves, rather than blasting through them like normal), but only happened after I'd decided I'd strip the route after this lap to try something else here. Awesome. Tonnes O' Fun.

Got the last big move by the skin of my teeth; yew! Super fun little route.

2nd shot. As a full route, Junkyard dog earns a "classic" rating (not megaclassic, though). Maybe not too hard at the grade, but the upper section (especially after scoring some pump from the lower section) is the money as a juggy pumpmaster route. The particular standout is the briefly bouldery crux (which is slightly harder since the horn broke, but still not too bad).

2nd shot today. First time sending 2x 26's in a weekend. Was pumped out of my mind but recovered enough in the big scoop.

Much better than it's looks - the moves get easier as you're arms get pumpter - perfect. Felt like poo today but could still climb which is handy

2nd shot. I found working out the clip on the pocket-crux harder than any move on this, and skipped it on my onsight attempt. A mantle, some powerful pockets, another mantle, and some steep jugs. Entertaining. Felt about right at the grade.

First climb at the Junkyard. This place is awesome, wish I wasn't exhausted!

2nd shot. I should've just kept going on the Alzheimer's Onsight attempt, but on the final moves I got confused by all the millions of tick marks. After a fall I walked the upper move. My Send lap was just Mark and Execute the whole way. Once you get to where the REAL climbing begins, this thing is brief, but great moves through much steepness. That last move isn't as bad as I remember it.

2nd shot. Took me a bit of playing around to get that bouldery crux sorted. Came back down and went up again (without rest) for an easy tick. If the crux is a V3 boulder problem, then I think that gr24 sounds about right. Fun mantle, Crimpy and slopey boulder problem crux, and enjoyable juggy steep finale.

First shot today, after failing at it months ago. No hard moves but pumpy.

2nd shot. Awesome route, perfect rock. Hardest move is the star .

3rd shot today. It was all there for the taking on the 2nd shot when I arrived at (literally) the last move feeling fresh as a daisy, but I threw it all away when I forgot how to do it! 3rd shot went easily. Quite a fun and obvious line with lots of big holds, and a few tricky/sequence moves. Meat-wrap/rock-over for the win!
