Ascensões em Lucas Heights

One of the better climbs down here but still with the strange lucas heights awkward flavour. Hopefully Neil will reinforce the death flake, may just make this classic. The top crux is pretty smeary.

This is going to stump many people for years to come.. Break to Break to Break, just hope you don't break your wrist doing the crux.

Quite a few hard moves right up to the anchors, but interesting and technical climbing. Stemming!

A pleasant traverse that gets harder the closer you get to the anchors (as the handholds become quite polished and slopey, and the footholds vanish entirely). A bit of a nuisence to clean, though (backjump). I had fun leap-frogging my 3 quick draws all the way along this one when I realised that I hadn't brought enough. I'm becoming quite concerned for Neil's prospensity for girdle traverses.

My favourite for the night... fingerlocking good! (not a typo)

No wonder it used to feel hard at19. Lower is spoilt by some dirt in the seam. Still got some of the first bolt butterflies. Lovely committing but pretty straight forward crux. Bird poo has dried and isn't an issue. No gimme finish.

Good fun, thoughtful but not too bad with good sequences and footwork. Top was wet..

Longer than it looks!

Yep I can reach the jugs from the ground, this is a very high dependent crag. I enjoyed this end of the day lap.

Tricky start and an awkward crux move in the middle, but generally good climbing. Makes a good warm-up for this particular crag.

Cool start, big rest, boulder move, jug haul. Could this be extended? Good call on the permanent lower offs.

I really dig this type of climbing, pity the breaks are like sand boxes. I continued above the anchors to the next bolt, and eyed the extension up the slab. Too much lichen, and some suss anchors, so I backed off for today. Might be good.

Cool climbing spoilt a bit by dirt. Fun sidepull for the shorties. Probably 20 with a little less dirt at the start.

Almost like lime stone climbing at the start, The chimney was good. Lots of dirt and sand
