Came pretty close to flashing this mega classic! Fell at the second move, hopped back on from the pinch and right start hold and managed to get to the top. Definitely will need to come back to send with fresh skin, water and energy!

Like the other route but harder. Excellent lead by Arjan, who placed two pieces before the crux move that popped out as soon as I looked at them. Cue nervous laughter.

Layback thin slab is basically my anti-style... and here we are! Very fun climb, feet were in absolutely shocking pain from jamming and standing on small holds. Also popped my first piece of gear. Luckily the next piece was bomber.

A burly, slightly overhanging climb that makes it rather hard to onsight if you don't route read very quickly. Or just be stronger. Excellent climbing. Awkward, slightly flary jams add to the fun. Sketchy, unprotected traverse adds more fun.

A fantastic line to climb. A burly start with some awkward moves. I slipped and fell into a footjam so never weighted gear The 5m slab run out at the end, while technically easy, was memorable. Very good protection throughout otherwise.

	27 Easy	★★★ Ride the Lightning 1 25 Sport Fun and varied face climbing with a thin and technical crux. Probably hard 25 2 22 Sport Botched the slab... Not amazing but some interesting moves. 3 20 Sport Heaps of fun, long and classic slabbing! 4 25 Sport Funky, not a classic, but cool reachy boulder into easier but delicate mantles. Barely 25 if youre tall. 5 27 Sport Top roped once then got it done, amazing pitch! One of the best ive done at Bare Rock! Technical and sustained moves up crazy good rock, eases off massively in the second half. On the easier end of 27. 6 6 Sport I dare say this may even be a stiff 6!
