A very hard V1 for those without mobility or height on their side! High right foot to start, bit of a reachy deadpoint to the pinch on the arete. Lovely feeling to send this one.

Couldn't do the first move, moving either LH or RH up. Hard.

Very cool. Only two moves, but both are super fun. The move up to the jug makes you feel like a legend every time, even though it's easy. The mantle needs to be as messy as possible, for the entertainment of your spotters. Small boulder, minimal risk involved. The high right foot starting hold may be hard for some.

No shoes the first time, for extra spice. Repeated it twice the next day with my rock shoes. Much more secure. Only worth the stars if you do the whole first half of the route (the flake) as a proper layback.

Got my ass kicked. Didn't know what route it was, and pulled on using the crimps halfway up the face. Couldn't even put a single move together. Would be great to be strong enough for something like this.

Holy moly what an epic line. Definitely well beyond my ability at the moment but cool to pull on and try some of the lower moves. Might try chip away at this one every Townsville trip

Nice movements with good holds.

Had a go, not knowing the route details or grade. Such a sick line, I imagine it would be an amazing feeling to top this one! Could only just pull on to the wall; definitely not strong enough to do any of the moves that can be reached from the ground. Really puts V8/V9 into perspective - good to have an idea of how demanding routes at this level can be.

Sensational. Very inspiring line. Probably need a shoes without a hole in the right toe to hold the first move reliably. Also, need to get stronger! Definitely don't have enough power or finger strength to send this yet. Very keen to get back on this on a future trip.

2022 EDIT: turns out we had the wrong line entirely - we were going immediately right from the start holds rather than up left. Not that we got very far anyway!

Oops, missed out on the easy flash. High right foot when gaining the first jug, then foot swap as you move over it towards the horn. Fun route, I'd go back to do it again for sure.

Lots of fun! Intense and technical beta. Big reachy move to the horn. I got to the top starting halfway, and once managed to gain the horn from the starting holds. Just need to link it for the final send. Hard.

No shoes.

Need good shoes to stand on the credit card-sized starting footholds.

Good fun. Used the left heel and about a dozen bumps to get to the high jugs, then easy top out. My first V4!

Very hard for a V2, more of a V3. Getting the right foot out of the heel hook and on to the face hold is challenging. Stoked to have sent Squatting Bear (SS of Bear Huggies) in the same session.

Awesome route, basically fridge compression most of the way. Very technical moves, plenty of beta flying between Jarred Vardy , Tom P and myself. The send was really messy, but I'm happy to have got it regardless.

What a great line. Fairly dynamic movement for me throwing out left to the pinch with a perfect groove for your thumb. Slipped off the right foot multiple times bumping my right hand up again, but finally got it after some beta refinement.

Great climbing, one of my favourite routes in this area for sure.

Great traverse, really loved the movement across + a fun top out. Maybe a bit soft for the grade?

Little bit of spicy smearing up the dish until you get some good holds on the lip to mantle out.

Took a while to get this one, conditions were a bit subpar - very misty morning in the forest. Tried a few things, ended up going with some we'll hook beta to get up to the top.

Hard start trying to do static, no jump power

A cool jug haul, surprised it hasn't been done earlier, pretty well got send trained by everyone out there. Nice to change it up from all the low grade slab routes in the area.
