Hard opening moves -- to pull onto the face. Had a foot-hold in the black dike break under me while reaching to clip a draw to a bolt, but happily didn't fall. Nice friction climbing on the upper section -- though having the rock occasionally crumble a bit under my shoes was disconcerting on lead. This will get better as the climb gets a few more ascents.

Tried to pull the start a few times -- so not my style. Then dodged it with a scramble, and did the rest of the climb.
