La Dalle de Duingt
Attention: the crag was closed in April 2015 because of loose rocks - where a large part of the wall broke off. Since this incident, there have been efforts to make the area more safe, especially given the areas close proximity to a frequented walking/cycling path. The crag is very busy and well climbed, it offers beginner to intermidate routes. Best climbed in the morning (up untill 2pm in summer). Fun and easy for a casual days climbing. Please pay attention to the odd large loose rock! |

Angon
Bolts every 1-2m. Lower offs are two bolts connected with a chain holding a maillon rapide or ring or carabine. Many limestone charactersistics like holes, cracks, flakes etc. Good mobile coverage with LTE. For those that do not climb – or after climbing – there are some activities nearby: The pittoresque area around le Pont des Fées (5 min east). The impressing and worthwile Cascade d'Angon (10 min east); the path to there is well proteced but is slippery & uneven. A picnique site with water tap, boules and basketball pitch at La Closette (10 min north).

Small cliff perfect with family or to explain, also with a group of beginners: No exposured feeling thanks to only ~10m height and a big, even area in front of the wall. Routes are near each other, so with one rope, you can toprope 2-3 routes. Right of "Belle vue", there's a lower off at wall bottom for explanations. A path leads to the top allowing to place topropes, take photos from above, or explain at lower off.
Trees invite to hang up some hammocks and during vegetation period, they protect some routes against sunshine and light rain. On the other hand, they block the view from the wall's bottom.
