After exploding my knee on Bastard Stepchild I am enjoying the wonderful world of top roping with a knee brace. Learning: how to climb more squared on instead of always back stepping, repositioning my body to get a higher leg, palming down and pressing to move over foot holds, locking off and full crimping instead of dragging and rowing through moves…also top roping is the purest form of climbing wtf. I may never lead again, thanks Max for being the rope gun.

Awesome corner to a high crux which took some time to figure out. If you fall anywhere in the last two to three bolts you'll end up with a tree enema.

Beat route of the day! Super fun on great holds. Never encountered slippery sandstone before. Weird.

Loved it. Had a couple burns but couldn't do the crux consistently. Would love to come back but alas
