Used the rap rings 5m north of the top out carrots to fix a 60m static rope and rapped ~57m to a ledge then walked 10m north to the anchor bolts at the start of P2.

Not my first time on the climb. This time I placed trad gear where possible. Quite a lot of reasonable gear so I think a mixed trad ascent is a good, safe opportunity for ‘trad-curious’ climbers to combine big exposure with gear placement. Ecopoint Beta - Rode up the Bulli Pass from Thirroul on an electric cargo bike. Steep climb. Narrow and sketchy in parts. Biked all the way down the fire trail until the forest trail turnoff. Amazing downhill ride back to Thirroul.

The roof is definitely not as difficult as it appears from directly underneath. But, it is exposed and you don't want to fall getting to the clip. All the holds are there for you and the view is sensational.

Excellent problem. Found the crux to be the high left foot mantle personally. Top section isn't too hard, but the height and less than ideal landing are enough to make it a mental battle.

	22	★★ The Monkey Rope 1 Second Nice warmup 2 Trad A memorable experience, will probably only try this whole climb again if some bolts are added on this pitch. Had a massive scare when traversing left very far from any gear a foot broke, luckily I still held on. Then traversing back right through the bush is also terrifying, not much bad gear let alone good. Also once committed to the traverse I don't think there's any way to bail until the end of the pitch. Very impressed Simmo managed to link the first two pitches. Also falcon baby is on the traverse ledge, probably worth avoiding for the time being we got very swooped. 3 Second Not easy and a little scary, good lead by dylan. 	20	★★ The Monkey Rope 1 17 Trad Pretty chill, sandy but good gear 2 20 Second 20R The runout on crumbly rock is absolutely terrifying only to find terrible gear that would rip. Then traverse 10m across bush which seems to be floating. Be in free solo mode as you'd probably take a 10-15m whip on second if you fell here. There was a falcon nest 5m left of the cave with a little chick and the parents weren't happy so prepare for 45min of getting swooped. This could use a bolt at the cave with a perma rope to p3 belay to keep things safe. 3 19 Trad This could use a belay anchor at the start. An airy runout from the belay to bomber gear the rest of the pitch. 4 Trad needs a good brush	Trad 80m		Dylan Hill
An Epic today. The description states propa trad line with some spice, don't take that lightly. We rapped in further left above 'slow the beat down' its about 70-75m to ground, no rope pro needed, all in free air which was insanely cool

Beautiful and cruisy climb! Easy all the way with great holds except for near the end of pitch two. Tricky section with quite the runout for a bit of spice. Pitch 2 was the money pitch with lots of exposure and scenic views overseeing the whole of Wollongong and the ocean. This multipitch is siiiick 🤙.

Tougher than similar grade sixteens in the area. Didn't have a bolt plate at the carrot and wasn't that keen on the runout to the belay so I moved right into El Packo and protected the last section with some cams and a nut. Second pitch was a tricky onsight with a bit of a hail Mary lunge for a hold. Not sure if we followed the right line. South face always seems to offer good 'practice routes' and then deliver misadventure.

Very happy. Feels like a solid V8, but it's easy to work the moves. Took me 5 pretty short sessions, you can't have many attempts because the rock is quite sharp and the crimp is really intense to move to. Went first go this morning after dropping the ending last session.

Consistent climb throughout. Fun lay back crux
	20	★★ The Shield - with Kati	Sport 16m, 7		Softboi_core
Generous jugs. Took me only 9 attempts to get up to second bolt from the ground. Variety of sick moves all the way, frothing for another go!

Short and funky. Keen to go back at it to use intermediate R feet that I discovered later. Would be so much helpful to reach ledge above second bolt.

Pretty cruisy, until the bulge overhead. Had few attempts to grab the final hold for anchor clipping, limited reach. Maybe better feet positioning!
