Ben started up pitch one but he wasn't feeling it, so I took over. Same thing happened on pitch two. I committed to some glassy footholds well above small gear, but thankfully there was enough friction to stay stuck. If you place a few mono sized tricams you can probably eliminate all but one of the run-outs.

Yet another beautifully flowy slab climb! Highly recommend linking the first two pitches of Watchtower Crack to belay in the cozy cave, although second pitch of Skink becomes quite a bit shorter. Nice moves and an interesting traverse, before finishing up the flake line!

Super proud to get this clean. Thought it was done when I couldn’t get a nut out through the lower crux. Persisted for a few strenuous minutes before finally managing to pop it and keep moving. Found some legitimate hand jams comfortably but struggled to find sensible feet in the crack … felt harder than some 20+ graded climbs accordingly. Need to learn some crack technique!
