Voies dans Barrington (Gosnells) Quarry

Two carrots and a small cam (purple c4).

Very loose rock on second half of climb. Natural anchor.

Harder than "Skin Tight".

Pumpy climbing. Carrots. Route name is made up as "unknown" is boring and the FA choose to remain silent.

Testing all the way to the anchor. Start 4m left of ‘Dynamite’ and go straight up following the ring bolts left of the blast line. 5RB to DBB.

Start 4m L of BBB. Toddle up the slabby apron and easy groove above until near the top. Then it gets interesting. 7 fixed hangers to DBB.

Start in the corner just L of Competitive Edge. Climb the overhanging jug-haul past 6 ring bolts to DBB. FA was done barefoot (shoes forgotten at home).

8 carrots.

6 carrots.

The ring-bolted route just R of Dirty Deeds. The crux requires strange and memorable moves including underclings. 8 bolts.

Just R of Undertow, this bulging route is just awesome! The hard moves 2/3rds of the way up can be overcome by a quick series of low percentage moves. The convoluted crux is very hard to onsight. 9 ring bolts to lower-offs.

Enjoyable gym-like climbing on large holds, with some unusual body positions and a very long final move to get to the anchors (crux). 8 ringbolts to lower-offs,

3m uphill from Incinerator. Getting off the ground is tricky but there many other chances to come unstuck on this sustained and sequency route. It gets easier higher up but the pump might still get you. 7 ringbolts to lower-offs.

5 carrots.

Climb the balancy corner to lower-off. A good warm-up for greater things in this area. 5 carrots. Easier than "100 Questions".

This line goes direct and does not use the right crack. Climb it before the sun turns it into a frying pan. 5 carrots.

Location unclear

Looking at wall the climb and another near it form the outline of Africa. The climb is 6-7 metres long, small to mid size cams required, laybacks and underclings for about a 19/20grade.

Loose blocks at top. Is located at Inner Gosnells Quarry up on the Goatland area in to the left.

Some confusion over this line. The 2nd edition of CAWA's Perth Rock Climbing Guide has this line as the steep crack just left and round the side of 'Krakaddiction'. The line is actually the slightly overhanging crack at the right end of the face round the corner, above the shallow pool (see photo). There is a rusty bolt at the start, before the route joins an often dirty crack which runs to the top.

This climb is located approximately 30 metres left from Krakaddiction.

Start at the bulge on the left side of the wall.

Climb the bulge to the sloping ledge and follow the finger cracks over the slight overhang to the top.

The crux is getting past the fourth bolt.

Small cams are optional. Large boulders are at the top for an anchor.

Start as for "It's a Formidable Scent".

After the first bolt trend right following the bolts to the top.

The crux is between the second and third bolt.

A mix of fun moves.

Needs cams to protect top.

Quality, technical climbing up to juggy finish. The graffiti doesn't help.

The crack to the left of Toddler's Delight. Follow the crack up and the left near the top towards the DBB. Lots of pro.

The climb furthest to the right on the poolside wall.

Follow the face straight up past two bolts and finish at a DBB. Can protect with cams near the top.

Right of Toddlers Delight - Barry (16) 10m. up the vertical wall on small wires and cams. not a very good climb and a bit sketchy from memory ! dont remember how i got down either ? theres no loweroff. Stephen King 6/04/02

small waterfall just off the track in ellis brook reserve. small but a little bit tricky

Climbs the layback corner and face 1m left of the arete.

The arete. #2 RP protects the start

The thin crack 1m to the right of arete.
