Ascensions dans Queensland comme Attempt

skin all gone but motivation to come back is up. Hopped on the top rope to "try" the moves and managed to send. No skin left or time before last call on tacos though. Hopefully, get back on it for a lead attempt soon

Nothing to report. Good skin + felt good on the holds. Missing the body position

Many attempts. Got the landing rebuilt. Nice to be back in the gorge. First boulder sesh here for me since the floods. Got this twice from one move in (LH bump only), and many overlapping halves from start. Can't get closer without sending

Another real close attempt. Also, if you took the first two draws off this, any chance you'd let me know where you put them

3 x attempts today. first two were pretty rough, humidity was making me wet fire on the crimps. 3rd shot, linked from bottom of crux to the upper headwall! Psyched to know it's possible for me and keen to come back and start giving proper red point goes!!!

Wow this thing be sharp and tough

This thing felt like more of a concept to me than an actual climbable sequence. Pretty inspiring, keen to try again in a year or two

Awesome boulder, showed the flaws in my head-game; was getting spooked less than half way up!

Cool climb. CLimbed it cleanly up to just before the 7th bolt but got too pumped to continue.

too crimpy for me. Could barely get to the first bolt

Just one go today. Draws up and feeling pretty strong through the crux. Next session or so if I can get some westerlies

Did the bump move in iso 2nd try, feeling so much more solid compared to last year now I actually know what I'm doing. Only a matter of time

Got past the crux a couple times, the heel was sticking nicely but skin was distractingly painful. Next time!

Felt solid on this, just figuring out latching the last right and it should go! Put a bit too much expectation on myself this session

Made various bits of progress compared to last session despite fighting a massive urge to poo the whole time. Stuck the first move a couple times in a row at the end of the session which bodes well.

Again. Forgot the crux beta. Close on burn 2 but slipped off the pinch

Hex retrieval. Unlocked new beta for that.

Chucked a rope over it and had a play. Really cool, but hard. And sharp. Minced my knee during the rope setup by falling into false ground and my knee twisting, again. Fuark, spewing. Also with Becky, Cuan, Will, Ben, Liana.

Pretty close for first session in a long time, skin was cooked from Bellthorpe day prior, but had some good goes!

Fell going for the last move. Dirty bugger! Apart from that the rest felt real solid still

This damn boulder is teasing me, feels so tantalisingly close every visit, but always leaves me with nothing but wrecked skin. Feel much stronger on the start than last season, but sticking the throw continues to elude me. Beautiful boulder and locale as always, good reason to visit again!

Nothing more humbling than attempting a 14 then not being able to even pull on 🤣

Not sure what is funnier, the fact this climb even exists or that we couldn't climb it because it's ridiculously hard 🤣
