Tip toeing on the iron bands with massive drops below. Just stunning. Great lead by Mark despite breaking a foothold. The fun starts after the traverse. Fuck I hate slopers - climbed like a total noob in the hard bit. Surreal way to end a climbing trip that started 21 days ago in the Glass House Mts.

Such great exposure and setting. P2 is rad. Full laydown rest after the traverse. Took Mark's advice and shook out on good holds. The sequence at the very top was satisfying as well.

More stunning exposure. Initially used the tall-person footrail but learnt my lesson when a big chunk of it broke off. Hands in the first part are good becoming less so. Shubh asking me to pause for photos on the shittiest slopers added to the excitement. Ran the two pitches together, which seems pretty reasonable.

Traverse is a tad tricky if you're tall - easier to reach holds but you have to use slopers at stomach level. I misread the section above the cave - kept arriving at stances where the good hands were too low and ended up blasting through the whole thing. The hardest of the 17s and the best rock quality. 30 m to the anchors (top-ropeable on a 60), 31 m to the lip, then probably 35 m to the upper rap anchors. With 10 m of static, you could get down to the bottom on a folded 60 with inches to spare.

Got amazing conditions to do this epic line. I got the money pitch which was just incredible. The exposure is so damn unique as well. Have to say though, 16 is a bit too liberal. No move felt harder than 14.

Amazing route! Technical start, then grade 12 climbing the whole way except for one grade 14 move on the nose. Grade 16 is probably for exposure. Rock quality is good and we used two extenders on the traverse to ease drag. 3 stars - you won't find better at this accessible level.

Awesome, the hyped up ascent finally occurred. Lovely views, lovely jugs, and a lovely little adventure. Abseil wasn't too bad, but the first pitch had some sus rock, next time will start on traverse pitch. Very enjoyable - A whale of a time 🐳
