Ascensions de East Ridge

Simul soloed all but the Big Step. Good quality rock almost the whole way, but smoky conditions.

Great Route, more Grade III and not AI3 more like easy glacier walking. still super fun climb and really neat place to be! Black towers are loose but bolted anchors make route finding super easy, just make sure you find the first set of ring bolts and your set.

Ascended in gradually improving weather. Climbing/scrambling below the Black Towers is blocky and fun, though chossier than I expected! The Black Towers (and approach traversing the bowl beneath them) is scrappy. Crossing the hanging glaciers to the summit was another massive highlight!
