first climb ever for the kids

Good quality throughout. Slippery footholds. No forearm strength...

Fun balancey start followed by bouldery middle section then easy.

Obvious crux around first bolts. Not bad

Patiné. Plus difficile que le 5b à côté.

Enjoyable multipitch with a great view of the vineyards and lake. Linked lower pitch (30m) to pitches 2+3 of R2 (50m). Couldn't find the descent path so abseiled.

Difficult crimpy crux 2/3 of the way up. Easy other than that section.

Found this easier than some of the other 6a's here. Long, cruisy route with great rock except in the chossy middle section.

If more slabs were like this, I'd do more slabs! Fun balance moves on between pockets and rough slab face. Not polished compared to lots of other crags in the Arco area!

First onsight at the grade and it felt solid. The start could be better protected than the first bolt at the top of the overhang! The real crux is just after that, bolts 2-4. Fun!

Sadly not at this level yet. Tough crux but otherwise straightforward. 6b/c is written at the bottom of the route, but 6b in the guide.

First climb at Regina del Lago. Fun, mostly good rock.

Straightforward. Fun seeing the Giro di Trentino peloton pass by while setting up for the climb.

Just P1 with Marianne. Hard to tell where to go for P2.

Short and intense. Italosandbag?

Weird 60 degree slab. Definitely not my thing, but worth visiting for the approach through the village and olive groves. Ended up deciding that gelato and beer was a better way to end day than a water-less ascent in 28C sun so just did P1.

Endurance. I was lacking it! Long route, almost 30 m. Took a decent fall trying to clip last bolt.

Excellent route of sustained difficulty. Can't ask for much better at the grade!

Tough start that I probably made harder for myself by going right. After that, cruisy. Beautiful view over the lake and Castello Toblino!

Very nice route for the grade. Crux near top. Windy here.

Definitely need to work on my hand crack technique!

First route we did in Arco! Slightly unimpressed with this one. A bit polished.

The roof is not the crux. Thin slab section above is harder than it looks.

Fun. Beautiful views from this crag (as the name suggests!).
