45 min From the village of Isallo at the ferrata sign, follow the steep trail maked with red dots.

From the town of Alagna (Valsesia), take the cabway to Pianalonga then the chairlift to Bocchetta delle Pisse (2450m), or the track 5F (3 hr from Alagna).

DESCENT:

From the rock cairn o the summit (2780m) back to the chairlift. Several numbered tracks exist to go back to Alagna.

Short Via Ferrata (~ 45 min) starting from the bottom of the gorge near the confluence of the two streams, exiting through an old bunker tunnel.

The Via Ferrata is free. It can conveniently be combined with the adjacent Tibetan Bridge Walk (not free, https://www.pontetibetano.net/), which starts downstream in the gorge and provides a shortcut to get back to the parking over its last suspension bridge.

Si attraversa la strada e si segue il sentiero ben segnalato (nei pressi di una trattoria) che conduce alla base della parete ben visibile. dopo un bel percorso, si seguono le frecce (ferrata).Bellissima via ferrata, impegnativa e divertente. Tratti strapiombanti notevoli ed ottimo panorama. Consigliata a chi ha esperienza. Saper arrampicare aiuta la “lettura” dei tratti più impegnativi. quasi in cima, la ferrata si divide: parte dx più impegnativa, occorre superare un ponticello tibetano con passaggio che richiede piede sicuro. Parte sx, più semplice. entrambe portano in cima dalla croce.

4 hr From the village Pila take the chairlift of Chamole to the end at 2300m of altitude. From here take the track n.19c then n.19a to Chamole Pass (2600m) and down to Arbolle Hut. From here track n.14 and n.16 to the left (track n.16a) to the Carrel Pass (2907m) with the Bouivac (9 beds) and the ferrata starts at the back of the hut.

APPROACH: 20 min. From the village of Crépin the trail n.6 leads to the beginning of the ferrata, at an altitude of about 1650mt, in 15-20 minutes. From the car park, you go to the left and take the path 6 to the artificial lake of Cignana that winds up steeply through the forest until you reach the climbing gym "Valtournenche". Just before the "gym", you find the ferrata sign: the beginning is on a bend (right) of the path. The area is also equipped with a "Ferrata test route" for beginners to familiarize with hardware and equipment.

DESCENT: 45 min. Keep following the cables downhill, easily over grass interspersed with short sections of steep rock until you reach the upper end of the "Ferrata Test" cables. Continue down to the right, always aided by metal cables, until you reach the path where they end. Following this path (always to the right) to return, in about 150 meters, to the base of the ferrata. From here you return back to the parking area.

2 hr From the fishing club, 4Km south of Cervinia, take the trail to the glacier of Vofrede. At the fork take the right path to the beginning of the ferrata.

3.00-3.30 hr Continue to the Vofrede pass on loose rock and occasional yellow marks and cairns then descent to Gran Lago, to reach an abandoned hut and take the trail to Vuillermoz Hut, but many itineraries can be chosen to return to Cervinia.

The via ferrata delle aquile is a via ferrata that is located on the Cima Roda della Paganella in Trentino.

It is also dedicated to Carlo Alberto Banal and gives you the opportunity to enjoy the view of both the Adige valley and that of the Lakes as well as the Brenta Dolomites.

The route begins with the descent of the Cesare Battisti gully until it meets a stretch called "anthro delle pegore", then after a ledge, a traverse also known as " traversata degli angeli" (angels' traverse) which, on display, circumvents a complex edge to be circumvented. Almost immediately afterwards, a slightly less complex descent begins. The descent continues almost vertically until you reach the so-called "conca d'oro" from where a long traverse begins, alternating exposed and more comfortable stretches of ledge, until you reach the "cengia Terlago". The route continues for about ten meters while a view opens over the valley of the lakes connected to the valley of the Adige.

After a short descent and a subsequent traverse, you reach the first Tibetan bridge characterized by comfortable metal pedals to facilitate the passage. After that, you have to cross a smooth spur of rock to reach the panoramic point called "dos de la merenda". From here the second Tibetan bridge starts or, alternatively, it can be avoided by descending along the opposite side. Here we are almost towards the end of the via ferrata, where there is the book of the summit but this is not yet finished; there is one last long vertical corner missing. Climbing it up again using some rock handholds and some metal brackets you arrive at the "edge of the wind" and from here in a short time you arrive at the "throne of the eagle", the end of the road.
