Ascensions dans Cala Mitjana

First ever DWS spot. Started small but definitely worth it for this climb. So good

For 7a+ do not rest in the cave, but climb the right side of it. For 6c+ take a little nap in the cave and exit at the left side.

Il y a un bel avantage au départ si on est grand. Ca se complique un peu dans le crux ou il faut arriver à caler un pied gauche plié sans trop se mettre dans le vide. Le secret pour moi réside dans un bon verrouillage du biceps droit pour aller chercher loin une main gauche au niveau de la vire intermédiaire.

Ensuite il faut bien s'équilibrer pour se placer sur cette vire puis quelques mouvements plus simples amènent au sommet.

Hard crux, even more so if your tall, sharp af rock. Didn't really like it bit ill give it another go for the tick.

This is my kind of route! Long, pumpy and sustained with several heel hooks along a shelf, then up through a roof with a good rest before a slabby finish to top out. Was one move away from the rest on flash. But it was so steep I just had no idea where to go next untill I saw the holds from the water below after falling..

Clean repeat easily done after a few years.. Still my favourite route at the grade for now.

one of my favorite!!! key move is to do a small right foot drop knee (with left hand on good pocket) have a quick chalk up if needed for right hand to smaller pocket, then left foot high in pocket on left and hang right leg to stabilise and up with left hand. Best in afternoon so can dry out
