Took the biggest whipper possible fluffing the crux after the long fingertip traverse and took the brutal pendulum into the rounded arete of 'Eugene's Prow'. Luckily my head broke my fall and I only smashed my helmet to bits. A trip to A+E for a brain scan and the all clear was well received. Damn that run-out crux reachy rock-over. I'll be back.

Peak District Climbing Camp - 18 Explorer Scouts, 3 Leaders Top Rope Climbing on Three Routes at a wonderful area of The Roaches. Glorious sunshine all weekend. I set up the top ropes and instructed and taught Explorers and Leaders belaying. I like this area as there are three climbs all in close grade, easy enough for beginners but good to go off route for a challenge.
