Description

A large split puddingstone boulder about 13 feet tall with lots of smaller cracks and features around the bottom half. The top half is much more smooth and gradual with only a few decent crimps.

Limit. de l'accès hérité de Boston

Many of the popular climbing areas in the Boston area lie in protected state parks and urban wildlife areas. Some are even conserved by special interest groups dedicated to preserving the history of climbing in the area. In and around the city, there are many walls and boulders that lie on semi-private and questionable land. Use your best judgement and follow your guides.

Start at the center of the base of the boulder in the obvious hand and foot holds. Move upwards and mantle into the crack, reaching back out and over your head to continue on some super small crimps. Alternatively, you can traverse up the left side of the crack, jamming your leg deep within it to keep yourself there. If you're feeling adventurous and strong. you can waltz across the crack with an undercling and shimmy your way left and up the prow of the boulder.

Start at the bottom right corner of the large boulder at the back corner of the woods behind the sign. Work your way up the crack along the bottom to the left side of the boulder and then reach up and climb straight up past the large crack opening to the top around the left prow.
