This area is quite simply just across the river above the top of the main falls at McIntyre Falls themselves. There is bouldering around the river and up the hill in the bush. The climbing here is some of the best in the gorge.

Walk to the Macintyre Falls lookout, then back track 10m and bush bash left until you find the old closed cement path and steps which leads down to the rock. Head upstream around the steepest drops to the other side.
