Interested to try this with some different beta... The jump is certainly cool though.

What a climb! Figured out some good beta last session and managed to do it first try today. Stoked! Three sessions.

First section of climbing to the arete is super nice, need to workout beta coming around the arete. Rest of the traverse felt fine but the mantle is pretty bold.

Bit pumpy but not too hard with the right hand sequence. Has a committing top out and a pretty sketchy landing at times.

Nice move but a bit of a pointless eliminate. Don't think this is a 7.

Awesome moves despite being chipped.

Did all the hard moves going to the arete, really good climbing. Didn't even bother trying the second half without a spotter, looks easy enough though.

The decent rope needs to be replaced

Slightly committing topout and powerful move to get there.

Pretty easy for a v7 it seems to me, if I'm doing it as imagined. Firstly did it without the chipped hold for purity's sake, using the pebble and the bottom of the dyke that trends right to then get the arete, then did the moves again from the corner using a right hand in the chipped hold. Chipping is bad enough but chipping when a line is already there?

Kind of a flash, but I did touch the first two start holds on a variant warm up. I was fully committed to mantling with my fingers wedged in a granite torture device.

Got it from a couple moves in, and will come back to link soon. Not sure the chipped hold is actually needed, particularly at the grade.

Fun. Ended up doing it twice, as my foot scraped my pad first go. I don't think its hard enough to be 7, and felt similar to the other 6s in the area to me.

1st try today - some great moves. Would likely be a classic without the quite ugly and unnecessary chipped hold.

Yes! Super happy to finally get to grips with this one. Not my style at all, and not the best looking problem, but it's really punchy and has some great moves. The icing on a great session...
