Ascensões em Spring Mountain

The jug exploded on me so the start hold for the left hand is now the sloper a little lower. Left hand remains the same.

One move further than the time before, found anew footer in the overhang that helps bump the hand to the next sloper near the top.Even as a stand start it feels about V4-5 at the top.

Straight up and over. Be careful, as the Sandstone is brittle!

Well that turned out to be surprisingly tough. The best part of the start hold broke on me (although there are still decent crimps left to use). The first move seems difficult as does the mantle. It's definitely within reach for me but didn't go today. The rock is sharp BTW.

Can hold the start but again, where to go from here?

This will be an interesting one. Feels tough but possible. Moves off the start onto tiny sloper crimps. Can hold position on these but not move.

My new favourite crack boulder in Brisbane area - this is my favourite size (BD 5/6). Tight knees for me throughout, crux right at the top where the knee constricts to much I have to remove the leg entirely and use a scummy intermediate knee to move the stack. The landing is poo which improves the vibe in my opinion.

The shelf on the left is an obvious eliminate (and the only sensible way to do this boulder) but if you go left side in early enough you barely remember its there! High quality rock for the area - still sharp and scrittly but not enough to draw blood unless you thrash about.

Grade feels about right. Crux can either be done with a crappy jam or a bomber layback on the tips crack to the right. Lost the nerve to do the topout and downclimbed after popping several of the feet lower down. Fall is clean

Top out was sketchy but manageable, probably wouldn’t do it again though

Probably the most interesting moves at the crag right now. Powerful moves, good jams and I even got my head involved.

2nd go, crumbly feet cost the onsight!

Started to the right with right hand sidepull left foot up to good part of rail then left hand to sloper, rock over onto left foot then up.felt harder than vb.more like v1
