Ascensões em Te Waipounamu / The South Island como Attempt

Too pumpy for final climb of the day, got to the 4th bolt and couldn't figure out the moves to get the draw in so pumpy! Fun and strong climbing up to there though!

A few goes, got the first move a couple times, then a finger went pop and I took up sailing.

First time failed at a 20..May be just too tired after the 24. It feel harder then some 22,23 around.

Felt harder than most 23s I've tried but maybe is just hard to read on the onsite

Swear I'm cursed on this route. Every time I try I split my finger right on the first pad crease. Made it to the crux but didn't bother trying it.

I thought it was the 19 but cannot even pass the first bolt then I realized it is not 19 and not in the guide book. Seems like 25+ to me.

Cheated at the crux

Much harder than I was lesd to believe. Was planning on leading but looks like I won't be anytime soon...

Dunno if I can even call what I did an attempt 😅😅

The distance between the bolts is scary. Other than that the climb was fun, ran out of time

Had several goes and made all the moves, just too tired to link them.

I used to cruise up this thing, now I can’t even stick the first move… sad, sad times.

Had a play on the blank top crux on top rope. Got those moves didn’t have time to have a send attempt

One reachy move I struggled on

This is pretty run out with loads of gorse and trees in crack. Just be aware. Take some big cams #4 or bigger.
