Felt smooth and controlled on my second go today. Maybe 5 goes over 3 sessions. I'd like to claim my first 26 but I think this is 25 (7a+) or even 24 (7a), definitely not as hard as Mercury or Red guitar. I used the big throw beta which feels much more fun to me

Went second go today. Previously had felt nails hard. Made it much more controlled and technical than power attempts before. Very happy to send this one, marks a lot of progress for me. Cool crisp misty conditions made a big difference. Climbed with Rasmus.

Got it on my fourth go on my second session. First go today I was in no man's land(!) felt way off. I hung on the first roof and lowered off on the top roof. Completely ran out of gas, couldn't hold anything. Next go I got the send out of nowhere. Richard Behne was at the crag and said they called it benchmark 24 but whatever I'm taking the book grade and chalking it up as my first 25. Stoked! Climbed with Simon.

Hard bouldery overhang into easy vertical climbing. Ends with a tricky little roof after a good rest. It felt very similar in style to Magic Potion at Lakeside (21) and harder than Rasputin (20) at the same crag - so my personal grade contribution is a 21.

Wow, what a route! My beta at the top was: match the intermediate just before going for the rail, right foot high, squeeze right knee against rock, then left foot out on rock, then go! I have no good beta for the middle section 🤷‍♀️ There’s a crap undercling for right hand, go up to 2-finger pocket with left hand.
