4wheel drive, many access rotes cross private land via cattle gates.

Route starts on eastern side at the base of the peak, accessed from pass creek road. Approach through a small forest with a scree floor to the top of the tree line. Summit trail is obvious for most of the climb. Move up to a saddle on the summit ridge and follow it to the summit. Great mostly 3rd scrambling once you are on the summit ridge with lots of exposure and occasional class 4 moves. If you find yourself doing class 5 moves you are off route. Retrace your ascent to descend.
