Ascensions dans Gracetown Crag

Conditions were insane today. Found mega classic beta for this classic. Smears stuck like glue. This place could be golden if there were a few more bolts allowed.

Climbed in summer sun. Oops. 3rd session on. Too far apart. Did the final crux on lead. All moves done. Just need to rock up within the next month with good conditions. One of my favourite climbs I’ve done. So many fun moves.

Opening the outdoor climbing for the season. Bottom third was wet so didn’t give it any real goes. Did the final crux free for the first time. Hopefully not as long between burns this time.

Working the moves. Did a lot of hard moves bar the crux which is going from the last bolt to the anchors.

Incredible route. Crimps, edging, smears, gastons, dead points, slopers, rock overs...it has a lot of climbing! Linked the 2 lower cruxes, but will need to sort the top out to go for the send.

Second go.

Hard start past shity wire placement and one carrot. Then over the lip with okay gear and really runout out to the top. Sandbagged! Atleast 22

Awesome fun climbing but runout through the slab between the bolts. Bring ya bballs

Super fun and cruisey first section which is chipped and has heaps of manufactured places to place nuts. Things get interesting after the break where it becomes delicate and crimpy. The two bolts are well spaced to make your knees sweat!

Good for Grade 18.
