Love the bush bash start and finnish. Climbing and views are pretty good

Great climb. The descent was interesting for a few moments

lovely atmospheric climb, once you leave the jungle. did in four pitches and led p2, p5 (only needed thee slings, but extenders are useful). overshot the second abseil and then tore a ~bar fridge sized chunk of rock off the face below p4, whoops.

My first multi-pitch climb!

Also, both mentally and physically, the most arduous day of my life. 4 pitches, 81 metres straight up an almost vertical limestone cliff, in direct sun for more than six hours. The view from the top was spectacular, but terrifying! By the time we got back to the ground I had blood all over both knees from repeated contact with the razor sharp limestone and a burst blister on my left heel the size of a fifty cent piece. Complete healing of my left heel took another three months.

I will remain grateful to Nigel and Julian for the rest of my life for taking me on that epic climb, teaching me so much, and keeping me safe the whole time. Would I do it again? You betcha! Without an instant's hesitation!

When we were back safely on the ground, sunburnt, exhausted, dehydrated and ravenously hungry, I discovered that my amazing wife had stood out in the sun for the whole six and a half hours and watched the entire event. Even more amazing, she had recorded the whole climb for me in a series of several hundred photos! Wow... what a wife!
